Good neighbours: Helping out local charities

Satsuma Loans, an official partner of Sunderland AFC, have launched an online poll offering four local charity organisations the chance to bag a cash grant.

Satsuma Loans is the online arm of Provident Financial, which has been lending a helping hand in local communities since it was established in Bradford way back in 1880.

Since 2009 Provident’s Good Neighbour Community programme has supported community organisations which best demonstrate a ‘good neighbour’ approach to their local community. By the end of 2015 they had committed long-term support to 50 projects across the UK and Ireland.

This support of local communities will be a big part of Satsuma’s partnership with Sunderland AFC.

Here’s your chance to help with this.  Listed below are four good causes nominated by an independent panel.

Using the poll on the Wear on the Ball Facebook page, choose your favourite.

The one with the most votes at the end of the voting period will receive a grant of £5,000; second will receive £2,500; third, £1,000; runner-up, £500.
