Sunderland AFC can confirm that Zak Johnson has returned to the Club following the expiration of his loan move with Hartlepool United.
The 18-year-old made 12 appearances for the National League side having signed in September 2023.
Johnson will now link back up with Graeme Murty's side ahead of the upcoming Premier League 2 fixture against Nottingham Forest.
