Benji Kimpioka has returned to Sunderland AFC following a 28-day loan at Southend United.
During the forward’s time at Roots Hall, he made two first-team appearances for Kevin Maher’s side who currently sit 21st in the National League.
Kimpioka will resume training with SAFC’s Under-23 squad ahead of Monday’s Premier League 2 fixture against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
