Sunderland under-23s have learned their fate for the 2019-20 Premier League Cup.
Elliott Dickman’s young guns have been drawn into group F alongside Huddersfield Town/Oxford United, Liverpool and Wigan Athletic.
The Black Cats will kick things off against the Reds on home turf in November before taking on Wigan a month later.
The Lads will then face either Huddersfield Town or Oxford United at the start of 2020 and then round off their group campaign away at Wigan Athletic in February.
