Sunderland AFC are delighted to announce the signing of Cieran Dunne on a deal until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old will form part of Elliott Dickman’s under-23s squad after previously representing Scottish League One side Falkirk.
Dunne, who is a winger, made his first-team debut against St Mirren in October 2017 and has since featured a further seven times for The Bairns.
Speaking about his Wearside move, Dunne said: "I'm delighted to sign for Sunderland because it's a fantastic club and I really feel this is the perfect place for me to learn and improve.
“I've been training with the lads for the last few days, the standard has been high, and it's been competitive.
“I have been schooled well at Falkirk and now I'm ready for this exciting challenge in my career."
