Following a goalless first period, the game came to life when George Brady turned the ball into his own net with 51 minutes played.
Josh Barrett then converted a penalty four minutes later before Andrija Novakovich added a third to put the Royals in firm control of the Premier League 2 fixture.
Josh Maja sparked a late comeback as he incisively drilled home from the edge of the box, and then Embleton set-up a grandstand finish as he dispatched a pin-point free-kick.
