George Crow: 3 March - 24 March 1939

Following Johnny Cochrane's resignation, George Crow, who was his assistant manager for nine years, stepped into his shoes as caretaker for a short spell.

During Crow’s spell as caretaker boss he took charge of four games and enjoyed a mix-bag of results which saw him win two and lose two.

Crow wasn’t kept on as manager and returned to his secretary role at the club as William Murray was dubbed the right man to take the club forward.
