Benji Kimpioka scored a sublime hat-trick as Sunderland under-18s secured their third straight victory.
The Swedish starlet netted his first of the afternoon in the West Midlands to cancel out Rayhann Tulloch’s opener on 27 minutes.
Jake Hackett then fired the Black Cats into the lead a minute before the half-time break and then Kimpioka added a third on 55 minutes.
Tulloch scored his second of the afternoon for the hosts just after the hour mark, but Jacob Young and Kimpioka ensured a comeback wasn’t on the cards as they netted Sunderland’s fourth and fifth.
Tulloch reduced the arrears in stoppage time but Sunderland ran out comfortable winners in the U18 Premier League.
