Q: What inspired you to support Sunderland?
A: I was taken to watch Sunderland play as a 5 year old by my Father, it has been in my blood ever since
Q: Have you watched Sunderland ‘til I die on Netflix and what did you think of it?
A: I watched the whole series in one sitting, riveting stuff really well made, looking forward to the next series.
Q: What time are the Sunderland matches on in Moscow and do you watch them with any other supporters?
A: The time difference in Moscow is 2 hours ahead of UK time in summer and 3 hours when UK puts the clocks back. If the game is on Sky or BT we watch as a group in local sports bar
Q: What was the first Sunderland match you ever watched? Can you remember the score?
A: Alas, it was so long ago and I was so young that I do not recall, I do however remember being placed on the old concrete crush barrier at the Roker end and asking my father which one was Len Shackleton!
Q: How long have you been supporting Sunderland for?
A: Over sixty five years
Q: Roughly, how many Sunderland fans are there in Moscow that you know of?
A: There are six that I know of and we are making converts of local Russians with the help of the Netflix series
Q: What are your plans for the Moscow branch?
A: We want to try and make contact with any other Sunderland supporters here in Russia and try to establish a regular meeting place where we can get together and celebrate our wonderful football club!
