Q: What inspired you to support Sunderland?

A: Like any football fan in India I started loving Premier League so young and no wonder that I became Manchester United fan because of the sheer amount of people around you supporting them . I always cherished the United vs Arsenal battles those days and was a die-hard ROY KEANE fan. And when Roy became Sunderland fan I started to follow the club, I was so heartbroken when Roy left. But when Bruce came in, he bought many quality players in and after that win at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea I think that love became something so inseparable. It has been a long process, One thing I loved about Sunderland was the never say never attitude the club posses even at worst possible situations that the club came under like our never ending relegation battles in the Premier league.
AS PEOPLE SAY, SUNDERLAND JUST GOT UNDER MY SKIN AND THE REST IS HISTORY.

Q: Have you watched Sunderland ‘til I die on Netflix and what did you think of it?

A: Yes. The series has been blessing because you don't need to explain to your regarding the reason why you Support the club.
This club deserves the best and it shows what the club means to the fans. Waiting for the next series.

Q: What time are the Sunderland matches on in India and do you watch them with any other supporters?

A: Supporting Sunderland has never been this difficult. Ever since the relegation from Premier league, there are no live matches on TV and l normally follows the live commentary at the Club website, James Hunter's twitter feeds, Roker Report, Highlights in YouTube.

Q: What was the first Sunderland match you ever watched? Can you remember the score?

A: I don't remember really and the one remember cherishing was that 0-3 drubbing of Chelsea at the Bridge and that Onuoha scoring that Solo goal.

Q: How long have you been supporting Sunderland for?
A: As I've already said, I've been supporting the Club ever since the Roy Keane days.
Not in context of this question, one incident I'll never forget about being a Sunderland fan happened over a year back. I was returning back from my work place and there were 3 British tourists in the same Coupe. We started to talk about football and they were die hard Leeds fans. When I said that I was a Sunderland fan they were so amazed and started great talking about Sunderland, Stadium of Light match day atmosphere and the passionate fans we've got. I was so proud supporting the club.

Q: Roughly, how many Sunderland fans are there in India that you know of?
A: I guess there are 3 including me. One is a guy called Kanna Subrmaniam from Chennai, I got in touch with him through Instagram. Another one is my friend named Abhishek Nathan who is Chelsea fan but cares for Sunderland, we often discusses about the plight club is in and the sheer passion it possess.

Q: What are your plans for the India branch?
A:Firstly in trying to add onto this number and one day hope to do a fans meeting on a Match day and will go on from there.
