Sebastian has answered our questions. Apart from Martin, the branch is made up of the one member who manage the social media accounts: Nicolás Carranza

Q: What inspired you to support Sunderland?

Sunderland has always been a club that caught my attention for its greatness and the quality of players and coaches that have passed through there.

When you start to follow the club, you also end up falling in love with the city and its people. I don't think there are more loyal people (through thick and thin) in the whole of the UK.

Q: Have you watched Sunderland ‘til I die on Netflix and what did you think of it?

I have seen it and it has seemed fantastic. Having seen it reaffirms my love for the city (which I will meet shortly) and its fans.

That documentary allowed me to meet Peter Farrer and become friends with his entire group of friends (his son Peter, Trevor, Jimmy and Damon Breen, Andy Mcnaught, Richie Cowie,Joe Carton and John Snaith, the owner of Colliery Tavern). We have a group of WhatsApp with Martin and them, which allows us to strengthen a friendship and be more aware of everything that happens there, beyond the distance. Other people have also contacted me for an article I wrote in the fanzine on social networks. Peter Finnon. Another big fan of the SAFC. They are great friends and very generous.

Q: What time are the Sunderland matches on in Argentina and do you watch them with any other supporters?

There is a 4 hour difference between the UK and Argentina. They are good times to watch the games. It was difficult for me to watch the games on some pages, but I discovered Safsee and from this season I will subscribe. I always lived them very intensely on my notebook and I will live them in the same way now, looking forward to a great season.

Q: How long have you been supporting Sunderland for?

From 2000 to this part a lot of Argentines have passed and that attracted attention. Almost at that time I signed Julio Arca, a legend of the club and the Argentine who has had the best performance in Sunderland in my view. Like I said before, great players of all nationalities (Defoe, Borini for example) and also national legends (Kevin Ball, Super Kev, etc) have passed through the club.

High-ranking technical directors have passed since I followed the club, such as Sam Allardyce, Gus Poyet, Paolo Di Canio and Roy Keane, who did not spend a long time directing us and whom I appreciate for the love he has for the club, beyond his departure.

Q: What are your plans for the Argentina branch?

The idea is that the Netflix series has fallen in love with many in the country (I know that this is the case) and add many followers through the social networks mentioned above.

Obviously the goal would be one day, not so far away, to travel and meet members of supporter branches from all over the world.
