Sunderland AFC signed a long-term deal with global brewing giant, Molson Coors, which saw them become the club’s official beer partner from summer 2015.
Molson Coors supplies beverages throughout the Stadium of Light, with its range of high quality products featuring across concourse bars, hospitality and events suites.
The five-year agreement also includes 1879 Events Management, Sunderland AFC’s growing external events division.
Black Cats’ supporters and stadium guests will be able to enjoy the extensive Molson Coors portfolio of world famous brands, featuring hugely-popular draught beer and cider brands, including Carling, the number one selling lager in Britain.
As part of the exclusive deal, the Stadium of Light’s popular North Stand has become the Carling Stand.
Carling has been Britain’s best-selling lager for more than three decades. Carling uses 100% British barley, creating the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, ensuring that Carling is as brilliantly refreshing from the first sip to the last.
With sponsorship of the Premier League, the League Cup and most recently becoming an official partner of St George’s Park, the home of all England National teams, Carling has continued to support football over the years making it the lager brand most associated with football in England.
