Tour of Ghana draws to a close.

Sunderland AFC’s head of international football development rounds off tour in Ghana with a fond farewell.

Graham Robinson, who has been in the country to work with club partners Asante Kotoko ended his tour with a final training session with the Porcupines under-17s team.

Throughout his tour with the club, Graham has been working with coaches of the academy and first team to support in the structural planning of youth development and the implementation of coaching techniques.

In appreciation of all the good work he has done this past week, the Porcupines under-17s captain presented Graham with a traditional Ghanaian shirt.

Also in attendance at the presentation were journalists and film crew from Super Sport who have been monitoring Graham’s tour this past week.

Speaking to Super Sport, Graham commented: “Make no mistake, these boys are mentally strong, technically good and sound in many ways. The potential is there for all to see.”

Rounding of his trip with the Porcupines, Graham bid farewell to the club’s senior staff and thanked them for their hospitality this week.

Graham’s trip has been part of a burgeoning partnership between Sunderland and Asante Kotoko, who were crowned Ghanaian champions last season.

Next up on his tour of Africa is Johannesburg in South Africa where he will link up with partner club Bidvest Wits.
