Head of international football visits club partner.
Sunderland AFC’s head of international football development, Graham Robinson, has kicked off his visit to South Africa with partner club Bidvest Wits.
Graham who recently visited SAFC’s Ghanaian club partner, Asante Kotoko, will work with Bidvest Wits' academy and senior officials throughout his week with the club.
The Black Cats delegate met with senior club officials from Bidvest Wits, who praised the partnership between the two clubs.
Both parties were very positive of the work already being done and equally excited about the benefits of the partnership going forward.
The weather in Johannesburg halted Graham’s trip earlier in the week with thunderous rain storms hitting the city, however, following meetings with the technical team at Bidvest Wits, Graham was keen to hit the training ground running.
Graham put the South African Premier League club’s under-15 squad through their paces at their academy facility. The session which was focused around technique and decision making was a welcoming challenge for the youngsters.
Ahead of leading the training session with the under-15 squad, Graham observed the Students' first team in training and will continue to work with the club as he continues his tour this week.
