Abdoullah Ba signed for Sunderland on a long-term contract in August 2022, arriving from Le Havre of France.
A youth international for his homeland, midfielder Ba has represented France's young charges up to Under-19 level.
Operating either as a wideman or an advanced attacking midfielder, Ba has gone on to develop into a first-team regular amassing over 50 appearances and scoring three goals.
