Craig Lynch

Craig is a striker born in Durham who is pushing for first-team action having already made his senior debut.

The frontman has excellent finishing ability, sees the game well and can also play in midfield if required.

Craig came through the club’s youth system and turned professional in 2010 having seen the first year of his scholarship ruined by injuries.

A good 2010-11 season at reserve level – including 10 goals in just 21 appearances – earned Craig two first-team appearances, both as a substitute.

He made further progress in 2011-12 despite missing time through injuries, scoring five goals in 16 games.

Craig joined Hartlepool United on loan in September 2012, making his first appearance in a 2-1 defeat to Carlisle.
