Connor Oliver

Connor is in his first year as a professional having graduated from Sunderland’s Academy system.

The right-back hails from Walker and attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Leicester and Doncaster, before choosing Sunderland for his footballing education.

He matured into a key role in the under-18s, making 35 appearances over two seasons, and served as vice-captain in 2011-12.

Connor broke into the development squad during the 2010-11 campaign and did so again last time around, playing six games at the back end of the season.
