Adam Mitchell

Adam can play up front or on the wing and is in his second season as a professional.

He played for the under-18 side while still a schoolboy and progressed onto a two-year scholarship in summer 2010.

No player featured more for the youth team than Adam in 2010-11 as he played a total of 31 games, scoring six goals.

He added another five goals in 23 games for the young Black Cats in 2011-12.

Adam also broke into the reserves during the 2011-12 campaign, playing a total of 12 games and scoring twice.

Mitchell was a regular for the development last term with 22 appearances to his name - only Jordan Laidler and David Ferguson featured more.

He won a call-up to the first team for the final game of the 2012-13 season, appearing as a late substitute against Spurs.
