A: Coldplay - Tickets are priced at £49.50 for general admission and £55/£65 for seated tickets

A: Yes, booking fees will apply on all tickets other than those that are purchased in person from the Stadium of Light ticket office with cash.

Stadium of Light:
A limited number of tickets* are available for in-person purchases only. Bookings cannot be taken via telephone. These are general admission tickets (standing/unreserved seating) and priced at £49.50. There is a limit of six per person and credit/debit card purchases are subject to a booking fee.
In the interests of safety any young person under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and no children under the age of 5 are allowed.
*Purchasers will be issued with a voucher which must be redeemed for an actual concert ticket nearer the time of the show.

Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: In the interests of safety any young person under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 and no children under the age of 5 are permitted.
Q: Can I queue to buy tickets at the Stadium of Light before they go on sale?
A: Yes, this is permitted.
In the interests of public safety queuing at the Stadium of Light for Bruce Springsteen tickets will only be permitted from- 9am onwards on Friday 2nd December 2011.
SAFC will house those queuing inside the stadium concourses however fans are asked to be mindful of the severe weather conditions. No alcohol will be permitted inside the stadium and it is a strict no smoking venue.
Please note that Sunderland AFC does not allow any child or young person under the age of 15 to queue overnight unless they are accompanied by an adult. Our Stewarding staff may ask for proof of age and make contact with an appropriate adult to advise them that their child/young person has been asked to leave the Club grounds.
Fans are advised that they queue at their own risk and that Sunderland AFC is not liable for personal loss or injury. The club also reserves the right to refuse sale of a ticket to anybody deemed to be acting inappropriately.
Sunderland AFC is fully committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and visitors to the Club to share this commitment.
Q: How can I pay for tickets at the Stadium of Light ticket office?
A: Credit and debit cards (not amex) are accepted and are subject to a booking fee. Those who make cash purchases will not be charged a booking fee. Purchasers will be issued with a voucher which can be redeemed for an actual concert ticket nearer the time of the show.

Q: What tickets are available to buy for the concert?
A: Fans have a choice of reserved seating, general admission including 8,000 unreserved seats or hospitality packages.
Q: Can I buy a reserved seating ticket from the Stadium of Light ticket office?
A: No, these must be purchased from one of the ticket agencies. Sunderland AFC has a limited number of general admission (unreserved seating) tickets available for in-person purchase only.
Q: If I purchase a ticket from the SAFC ticket office on the release days, when will I be able to exchange my voucher for my concert ticket?
A: The exchange facility will be available when the club receives tickets nearer the date and this will be communicated through the media and details will be posted on this web site when they are available.

Q: I am a wheelchair user and would like to attend. What should I do?

Wheelchair platform tickets will only be allocated to those who are attending the event in a wheelchair along with 1 helper ticket. A special entrance is provided where any validation will take place.
Q: What if I have a wheelchair platform ticket, where will I go?
A: Your ticket will have a defined entry point and there is a special viewing location to accommodate you and your needs. Entrance is via turnstile which will be defined on your ticket- entry point turnstile 62a

Q: What if I am pregnant and have a general admission ticket, where will I go?
A: There are a limited amount of unreserved seats located within the general admission area, so it is advised that if you are pregnant that you purchase a seated ticket.

Q: Will there be parking available on the day of the concert at the Stadium for the public?
A: No, there will be no parking available in the areas in the immediate vicinity around the stadium as the roads will be closed around the stadium to ensure the area is safe for concert goers.
Parking will be available to wheelchair patrons only who present a valid wheelchair platform ticket and car park pass for the red car park (this pass will be included with your tickets). The location is in front of main west stand of stadium, near to turnstile 62A which is disabled entry point.
It is planned that there is park and walk; specific drop off points in and around the city near to the SoL and many other additional transports services to ensure everyone is accommodated - see transport section within the site.
Q: Will there be coach parking available at the stadium?
A: Yes, there is an area in the immediate area available for designated coach parking, permits for coaches must be purchased from the club in advance and are on a first come basis at £30 each.

A: There are many car parks within the city, details to follow on this web site when they are confirmed, with Sat Nav addresses.

Q: Can I smoke in the stadium?
A: No, the Stadium of Light is a NON smoking venue
Q: Will there be a guide to assist in finding the stadium, the correct entrance and how to find my seat/area?
A: Yes, there will be a credit card sized fold out map sent out with your tickets
Q: Will I be able to purchase food and drink in the stadium during the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and meal deals available at all bars and concessions within the stadium. There will also be on pitch dispense service for general admission patrons.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Stadium?
A: No, food or drink can be brought into the stadium, searches will be applied at point of entry and guests will be asked to discard any food and drinks before entering.
Q: Will there be drinking water available?
A: Yes, there will be drinking water available on site.
Q: What if I have a general admission ticket, where do I sit/stand?
A: All general admission ticket holders will receive a wrist band on entry and will be directed to the inner stadium bowl (on pitch/standing area); there are unreserved seats also in this area on a first come first served basis.
Q: What if I have a ticket for hospitality area, what time will these areas close?
A: All hospitality areas will remain open late and will offer a range of food and drink offerings throughout in superb surroundings; we also have disco/party until late in selected areas for all hospitality guests
Q: Can I purchase official Coldplay / Bruce Springsteen / Red Hot Chili Peppers merchandise at the concert?
A: Yes, but only within the stadium in defined areas and at official outdoor locations, it is strongly recommended that you do not purchase merchandise from any non official traders as this is non-official merchandise and these people will be trading illegally.
Q: What if I or one of my guests feel unwell or have an accident?
A: There will be many stewards, first aid staff and support staff available to assist with any situations of this nature; the stadium also has first aid treatment rooms and direct links with Emergency services. Please find nearest steward if you require any assistance.
Q: What is Sunderland Live?
A: Sunderland Live is a programme of activities that are music related that will take place in the weeks prior and after the concert in 2012 to support the concert within the city. Further details of this program will be available on the official concert website.
Q: Will areas within the city be open late after the concert?
A: Yes, there are many bars, restaurants and night clubs which will remain open until late for concert goers to enjoy in the city centre of Sunderland. Details of offers from various venues will be made available on the website in due course.
