International Fans’ Day 2024 will take place on Saturday 6 April when Sunderland AFC host Bristol City at the Stadium of Light.
Tickets are now on sale for the Sky Bet Championship match-up, with supporters set to travel from across the globe to back the Black Cats against the Robins.
Held in partnership with the Branch Liaison Council, the third edition of International Fans’ Day is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Supporters heralding from Canada, New Zealand and Tasmania have already confirmed their attendance, with many more expected to travel to Wearside from the Club’s 35 overseas branches.
Attendees will be treated to an Academy of Light tour on Friday morning before celebrating their arrival in the North East at the SAFC Fans’ Museum, which will also be open on matchday from 10am.
After visiting the Beacon of Light Fan Zone pre-match, our international visitors will take to their seats for the main event before attending an exclusive post-match meet and greet with players and staff.
Their matchday experience will conclude at Diego's Joint in Sunniside, as BBC Radio Newcastle’s Nick Barnes and the Sunderland Echo’s Phil Smith host a red and white talk-in.
