Sunderland under-23s resume their Premier League 2 campaign this Sunday when they welcome Everton to Wearside.
Andy Welsh's side face the Merseyside club at Eppleton Colliery Welfare on Sunday 8 January, kick-off 12pm.
After ending 2016 with an impressive 2-0 victory over Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in the Premier League International Cup, the young Black Cats will now have high hopes of picking up where they left off as they start the new calendar year.
Everton, meanwhile, head to the north east having ended 2016 with a mix bag of form – recording two wins in their previous five matches.
Entry to the game is free for SAFC season card holders on production of their valid 2016-17 season card.
Entry for non-season card holders is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for over 65s and under 16s, available via cash sales on the day of the game. Turnstiles will open from 11am.
All tickets are sold subject to ground regulations.
