Arrive early for cup clash

Advice ahead of Southampton game.

Sunderland’s Capital One Cup campaign continues on Wednesday evening as the Black Cats take on fellow Barclays Premier League side Southampton at the Stadium of Light.

The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open on Tuesday from 9am-5.30pm and Wednesday from 9am until kick off at 7.45pm, to assist fans purchasing and collecting tickets.

Tickets are priced at just £15 for adults and £5 for under-16s and over-65s.

How to buy

Supporters are strongly advised to purchase or collect their match tickets in advance. The ticket office and ticket collection points are expected to be busy and supporters are asked to arrive early wherever possible.

Current season card holders who applied to join the Cup Scheme for the 2013-14 season will have their card automatically activated for this match.

In order to avoid potential queues or delays on the night, supporters can take advantage of the club’s ‘print at home’ facility, which is available for all games at the Stadium of Light, allowing them to book match tickets online and simply print off a barcoded ticket, which is then presented at the turnstiles in the same way as a standard ticket.

Cash turnstiles will be open on the evening from 6.15pm, with both adult and concession tickets prices available:

East Stand; 35, 36

South East Corner; 51, 52
