Fans are reminded of the ticket office opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period.
The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open for in-person purchases until 1pm on Christmas Eve and will be closed all day on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
It will re-open from 9am to 5.30pm on Friday 27th December and 10am until 1pm on Saturday 28th December, and then closed on Sunday 29th December. Normal business hours will be in operation on Monday 30thDecember.
The ticket office will be open 9am until 1pm on New Year’s Eve and on New Year’s Day from 10am until kick-off against Aston Villa. Normal trading hours (9am - 5.30pm) will resume on Thursday 2nd January 2014.
The visit of Aston Villa on New Year’s Day sees a special ticket offer for junior supporters. Tickets for the clash start at £25 for adults, £19 for over 65s, £18 for under 22s and either £10 or just £1 (when bought with a full-price adult ticket) for under 16s.
Tickets for the FA Cup with Budweiser third round tie against Carlisle United and the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final against Manchester United are on sale now.
Seats are also available for the home league games against Southampton and Stoke.
Tickets can be purchased via the online ticketing service 24 hours a day. The Ticket Hotline (0871 911 1973) will also operate 24 hours a day over the festive period, except between midnight on Christmas Day and midnight on Boxing Day.
Fans purchasing their tickets online can avoid the queues by printing their tickets at home free of charge.
Supporters purchasing or collecting tickets on the day of the games are reminded to arrive early to avoid any potential queues or delays.
