‘Shoot’ hits the Bar!
Former Sunderland star Chris Makin will take to the Black Cats Bar for a pre-match talk-in ahead of Saturday's game with Reading.
Supporters can hear from the former skipper when he visits the Black Cats Bar this weekend at around 1.30pm.
Ahead of every game at the Stadium of Light, a special guest takes to the Black Cats Bar for a pre-match chat.
Last season, the chats were an integral part of matchdays in the Black Cats Bar and they return for 2012-13 when the player affectionately known as ‘Shoot’ among supporters takes to the hot seat.
Makin, who notched over 120 appearances for Sunderland during 1997 and 2001, is a cult hero on Wearside because his penchant for thunderbolt balls from outside the box.
However, the right-back only ever scored one solitary goal and that memorable moment came on the final day of the 1999-2000 season.
Makin also spent a season at the Madjeski Stadium with Saturday's opponents Reading after leaving the Stadium of Light.
Fans can also enjoy a complimentary dish of the day, free matchday programme and take advantage of drinks offers in the Black Cats Bar every matchday.
