AFCON Update: Ndong plays 90 minutes

Gabon came from behind to draw 1-1 with Burkina Faso as the hosts earned their second point at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Didier Ndong once again completed 90 minutes but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the man who made the difference, with the Borussia Dortmund striker scoring his second goal of the tournament from the spot.

Aubameyang’s penalty came after Prejuce Nakoulma opened the scoring early on, but Gabon were unable to find a second meaning they now face a tough ask to qualify for the knockout stages.

Ndong and his team-mates will face group leaders Cameroon on Sunday, with Burkina Faso and Guinea-Bissau also facing off.

On Thursday, Wahbi Khazri will be hoping to earn his first start of the tournament when Tunisia take on Algeria (KO 4pm).

The Eagles suffered a 2-0 defeat to Senegal in their opening game, with Algeria coming from 2-1 down to earn a point against Zimbabwe thanks to a Riyad Mahrez double.

Dafabet make Algeria the favourites with odds of 11/8 available, and you can back Tunisia at 11/5.

Will Khazri in line to start, you can also back the Black Cat to score anytime with odds of 15/4 available.
