Loan watch: Lens nets for Fenerbahce

Jeremain Lens – Fenerbahce 3-1 Akhisar B

Jeremain Lens scored his fifth goal of the season as Fenerbahce defeated Akhisar B.

The Dutchman completed the scoring in a 3-1 win, netting in added time after Miguel Lopes’ own goal opened the scoring and Souza restored Fener’s advantage following Ricardo Vaz Te’s equaliser.

Victory saw Dick Advocaat’s side move up to third in the Turkish Super Lig and within one win of second-placed Istanbul Buyuk.

Tom Robson – St Patrick’s Athletic 0-2 Limerick FC  

Tom Robson completed 90 minutes as Limerick sealed a 2-0 win over St Patrick’s Athletic.

Now under the interim management of Willie John Boland, Limerick took the lead through Tony Whitehead before John O’Flynn added another in the second period.

It was Limerick’s third win on the bounce in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

Will Buckley – Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Newcastle United

Will Buckley wasn’t included in the Sheffield Wednesday squad as former Black Cat Steven Fletcher scored the winner against Newcastle United.

Adam Matthews – Bristol City 3-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Adam Matthews was once again left out of Bristol City’s squad as they overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to a Tammy Abraham brace.

The defender has made just two appearances in 2017.
