Loan watch: Coates wins, Lens makes debut

Seb Coates – Sporting CP 3-0 Moreirense

Seb Coates helped Sporting CP secure their third clean sheet in four games as the Portuguese side continued their perfect start to the season.

Gelsen Martins opened the scoring on 27 minutes before Neto was sent off for Moreirense, with on-loan Arsenal winger Joel Campbell making it 2-0 seven minutes after the restart.

Bas Dost added a third four minutes later to wrap up the three points and send Sporting two points clear at the top.

Will Buckley – Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Wigan Athletic

Will Buckley featured as a substitute for Sheffield Wednesday as Fernando Forestieri scored the winner at Hillsborough.

Will Grigg opened the scoring after just five minutes to send Wigan Athletic into an early lead, but former Black Cat Steven Fletcher levelled before the half-hour mark with his first goal for the club.

Forestieri fired home what proved to be the winner with 62 minutes on the clock.

Jeremain Lens – Fenerbahce 0-1 Bursaspor

Jeremain Lens made his debut for Fenerbahce but he was unable to help Dick Advocaat’s side avoid defeat to Bursapor.
