Lamine Kone has been restored to the starting XI for Sunderland’s trip to West Ham United.
The defender, who missed last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Stoke City, replaces Papy Djilobdoji who drops to the bench, with Patrick van Aanholt retaining his place despite limping off at the Bet365 Stadium.
Steven Pienaar also starts with Paddy McNair named among the substitutes, but up top the Black Cats are unchanged with Wahbi Khazri and Duncan Watmore flanking Jermain Defoe at the London Stadium.
Defensive stalwart John O’Shea captains the Lads.
