Jeremain Lens – Fenerbahce 5-0 Karabükspor

Jeremain Lens was in spectacular form for Fenerbahce last night as the Turkish giants ran riot against Karabükspor.

Lens has dazzled in recent weeks and he continued his fine form on Sunday evening, with the Dutchman now directly involved in five goals in his last four games.

Robin van Persie netted twice with Martin Skrtel and Aatif Chahechouhe also on the scoresheet, with Lens wrapping up the rout with 53 minutes played as Fener moved fifth in the table.

Seb Coates – Nacional 0-0 Sporting CP

Seb Coates kept his fifth clean sheet in 12 appearances as Sporting CP were held to a goalless draw at Nacional.

The defender, who has scored three league goals this season, was cautioned on a frustrating night for the Portugese side who now sit fourth in the table.  

Sporting are back in UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday facing Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park.

Adam Matthews – Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

Adam Matthews played 80 minutes as Bristol City were denied three points by a last-gasp equaliser at Barnsley.

Closing in on peak fitness following injury, Matthews and the Robins found themselves behind after 21 minutes as Marley Watkins headed the Tykes into an early lead.

Barnsley then missed a penalty before City turned the game on its head in the second period, with Lee Tomlin and Tammy Abraham sending the play-off hopefuls towards victory.

But a last twist in the tale saw the Tykes equalise in the final minute of added time as Adam Hammill curled the ball home.  

Will Buckley – Derby County 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Will Buckley didn’t feature as Sheffield Wednesday fell to a 2-0 defeat at Derby County.

Former Black Cat Steven Fletcher had a brief cameo – coming off the bench before being replaced – as goals from Cyrus Christie and Alex Pearce sealed a comfortable win for the Rams.
