Duncan Watmore netted a sensational opener in England under-21’s clash with France on Monday evening.
The Sunderland striker flicked the ball past two defenders before searing towards goal and sending a delicate lob over the goalkeeper from 25 yards.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for Aidy Boothroyd’s side as Moussa Dembele struck twice before Lewis Baker equalised, but the plaudits eventually went to Wylan Cyprien who sealed victory for Les Bleus.
