Loan watch: Lens and Coates feature

Jeremain Lens - Akhisar Belebiyespor 1-3 Fenerbahce

Jeremain Lens featured for 66 minutes as Fenerbahce sealed their fourth straight victory.

Inform Lens, who went into the game with two goals and four assists in his last two matches, helped Dick Advocaat’s side to an early lead as Robin van Persie put the visitors in front on 26 minutes.

However, Advocaat’s men had to wait until the second period to wrap the game up as Aatif Chahechouhe added a second in the 65th minute before Fatih Ozturk netted an own goal 12 minutes later.

Akhisar Belediyespor did score a late consolation goal through former Wigan Athletic man Hugo Rodallega, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the defeat which moved Fenerbahce up to fifth in the Super Lig.

Seb Coates - Sporting Lisbon 3-0 Arouca

Seb Coates played the full game as Sporting Lisbon cruised to their first win in five matches.

The central defender starred as he assisted Bas Dost’s opener on nine minutes before Joel Campbell turned home Adrien Silva’s cross 10 minutes into the second period.

Dost made sure of the win on 68 minutes after he combined with Campbell to ensure Sporting returned to winning ways and in the process kept the heat on league-leaders Benfica.

Will Buckley – Sheffiield Wednesday 1-2 Ipswich Town

Will Buckley was an unused substitute as Luke Chambers scored a late header to seal victory for Ipswich Town.

Wednesday fell behind when Tom Lawrence scored a superb solo effort before the Owls drew level when Gary Hooper pounced on Bartosz Bialkowski’s error.

With the game seemingly heading for a stalemate, Chambers popped up in the 86th minute to nod home a corner and hand the Tractor Boys a vital three points.
