The bulk of the Sunderland squad will return to pre-season training on Monday.
The players will report to the Academy of Light for fitness testing under the watchful eye of boss Sam Allardyce and his staff.
They will then spend a few days gearing up for their pre-season training camp in Austria, with the squad set to jet out of the UK on Thursday.
Some players have been handed some extra time off, with those involved in Euro 2016 among that group.
