El-Hadji Ba - Bastia 1-0 Toulouse

Ryan Boudebouz scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half, firing home a penalty after Francois Moubandje handled in the box.

Toulouse responded well but Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro’s perfectly weighted cross went to waste as Martin Braithwaite headed over the bar.

Next up for Bastia and Ba is a trip to Bordeaux.

Jordan Pickford - Bradford City 0-1 Peterborough United

Jordan Pickford’s Bradford City suffered their first defeat of the 2014-15 season, losing 1-0 at home to Peterborough United.

Kyle Vassell got the goal, slotting the ball past Pickford shortly after  the Bantams lost Andrew Davies to an arm injury.

Nine minutes were added on at the end of the match, but City were unable to make them count as the Posh hung on to seal three points.

Pickford and Bradford are next in action on Tuesday night, taking on local rivals Leeds United in the Capital One Cup.

Scott Harrison was an unused substitute as Hartlepool United picked up their first points of the season.
