Knott in action as Wycombe notch away win.
Billy Knott starred again for Wycombe on his return to the north east as the Chairboys won 2-1 at Hartlepool in League Two on Saturday.
Half-time substitute Max Kretzschmar scored both goals, netting from 25 yards six minutes after his introduction before rounding off a breakaway with a second goal 21 minutes from time.
James Poole replied for Pools with a close-range header, but Wycombe departed with all three points to move into eighth place.
Knott played the full 90 minutes as the Buckinghamshire side registered their first away league win of the season and their third victory in a row in all competitions.
