Celustka taking positives ahead of trip to Midlands.
Sunderland defender Ondrej Celustka is keen for the Black Cats to take the positives from Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Stadium of Light into this weekend’s clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns.
The Czech full back has impressed since joining on loan from Trabzonspor and, after a solid performance against the Gunners, Celustka says Paolo Di Canio’s side must pick up some results – starting with Saturday’s clash with the Baggies.
“West Brom is a very important game for us,” the 24-year-old said.
“For us it was tough because Arsenal are a big team; one of the best in the world.
"We had some very good parts in the game – for us we have to take advantage in this moment and in the next match as well.”
Celustka has completed his first month on Wearside and he says he still hasn’t had time to concentrate on life away from the game with football his main focus – even when he’s away from the Academy of Light.
“I like to be here, even after training when I have my free time I’m always thinking about football,” he said.
“I will do my best to help us pass towards the middle of the table.”
