Pickford and Knott set for loan action.

Jordan Pickford’s Burton Albion could move into the League Two playoff places with a win over Southend United on Saturday.

The Brewers lie 12th in the fourth-tier of English football after last weekend’s win over Wycombe Wanderers.

A win would extend Gary Rowett’s sides unbeaten run to three games with England U19 international stopper Pickford looking for only his second clean sheet since joining in August.

Meanwhile, Billy Knott’s Wycombe will look to build on their 2-1 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Bristol City when they host Torquay United at Adams Park.

Gareth Ainsworth’s side have lost their last two league matches and, after not tasting defeat in Knott’s opening six games with the club, they’ve dropped to 13th in League Two.
