Full-back marks international bow with goal.

Ondrej Celustka enjoyed a dream debut at senior level for the Czech Republic on Friday.

The defender celebrated his first cap with a goal after just three minutes to help the Czechs on their way to a 2-0 win over Canada.

Tomas Horava added a second goal eight minutes from time at the Andruv Stadion in Olomouc.

Seb Larsson's Sweden will look to reverse a 1-0 deficit in their World Cup qualifying play-off tie against Portugal following a narrow defeat in Lisbon.

Larsson played the full 90 minutes and came close to scoring, but Cristiano Ronaldo settled matters in the hosts' favour when he headed in Miguel Veloso's cross eight minutes from time.

Both Keiren Westwood and John O'Shea played 90 minutes as the Republic of Ireland beat Latvia 3-0 at the Aviva Stadium in Martin O'Neill and assistant Roy Keane's first game in charge.

Robbie Keane gave the Irish a 22nd-minute lead before second-half goals from Aiden McGeady and Shane Long made sure of victory.

Scotland's Steven Fletcher and Jozy Altidore of the United States faced each other in a friendly at Hampden Park as the sides drew 0-0.

Ki Sung-Yueng played the full 90 minutes for South Korea in Seoul as the home side reversed an early deficit to secure a 2-1 win over Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Charis Mavrias featured for the Greek U21 side and chipped in with a 19th-minute goal in a 5-1 hammering of Sweden in Katerini.
