Rose, Wickham and Pickford feature.

Danny Rose played 45 minutes as England’s U21s beat Romania 3-0 to set an international record of eight consecutive wins and eight consecutive clean sheets at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park last night.

Goals from Wilfried Zaha, Jack Robinson and Nathan Delfouneso secured the win for Stuart Pearce’s side as they prepare for the European U21 Championships in Israel this summer.

Sunderland striker Connor Wickham featured as a late replacement for Zaha three minutes from time.

Meanwhile Jordan Pickford starred for England U19s as Noel Blake’s side won their final warm-up game before the European Championships in Lithuania.

Pickford made a string of fine saves as Southampton’s Calum Chambers earned the young Lions a 1-0 victory over Turkey.

Pickford, who is currently on loan at Alfreton Town, made a superb stop five minutes before the break, stopping Ibrahim Yilmaz’s close-range header on the line after a dangerous set-piece from skipper Okan Yokuslu.
