Larsson stars in Sweden win

Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson starred in Sweden’s friendly victory over Macedonia on Monday night.

The Swede played 74 minutes of the clash at the Swedbank Stadion where a first half Alexander Kacaniklic goal was the difference maker between the two sides.

The Fulham midfielder drove the ball home on the 39th minute to give Erik Hamrén’s men the win as they warm up for the next stage of World Cup Qualifying games.

Sweden are next in action on Friday night, when the make the trip to face Austria, they currently sit second in Group C, one point and one place above the Austrians and just behind Germany.
