Westwood and McClean feature for Republic.
Keiren Westwood and James McClean both featured as Giovanni Trapattoni’s Republic of Ireland ran out 4-0 winners over Georgia at the Aviva Stadium.
Goals from Richard Keogh and Simon Cox gave the hosts the lead before Robbie Keane added a late double for the hosts in their final warm up game before their World Cup qualifier with the Faroe Islands on Friday.
Westwood played 90 minutes in a game he was rarely tested in whilst McClean had a fine game before being substituted in the 65th minute.
The Derry-born winger provided Keogh for the first goal as he swung in a free-kick from wide before the Derby County defender headed down with the ball taking a bounce before rising high into the net.
And McClean was again the provider for the second goal, three minutes after the restart, with his low cross fired in at the back post by the unmarked Cox.
John O’Shea was rested for the game.
