Midfielder delighted to find the net in Hong Kong.
Cabral was left to reflect on a good evening’s work after scoring in the win over Spurs in Hong Kong yesterday.
Sunderland qualified for the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy with a 3-1 victory and will face Manchester City on Saturday.
The midfielder, who hails from Cape Verde, latched onto Jozy Altidore’s flick to score with a neat finish as the Black Cats cancelled out Gylfi Sigurdsson’s opener.
Wes Brown and David Moberg Karlsson added further goals and Cabral felt his side deserved their win.
“I am very happy with my goal, but most importantly for the team,” he told safc.com.
“It was a good performance; very strong and compact. It was very good to come back from 1-0 down and win the game.
“The pitch made things tough but we did well and the most important thing is confidence from the win.
“To beat a team like Spurs and be in the final is very good.”
