Frontman links up with Welsh side on permanent deal.
Striker Fraizer Campbell has sealed a permanent move to Cardiff City.
Campbell, 25, joins the Npower Championship leaders for an undisclosed fee on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The former Manchester United man was out of contract at the end of the current season and had made 15 appearances during the 2012-13 season, scoring once.
He will now be hoping to help guide the Bluebirds to promotion – Malky Mackay’s side currently sit 10 points clear at the top of the second tier.
Campbell joined Sunderland in summer 2009 having helped Hull City into the Barclays Premier League during a preceding loan spell.
He made a total of 72 appearances in Sunderland colours, scoring 10 goals.
