Seb's goal boost

Super strike big plus for midfielder, says boss.
Martin O’Neill says Seb Larsson’s super strike against West Ham will be a massive shot in the arm for the Swedish star.
The midfielder netted his first goal of the season fine style last weekend, finding the top corner with a spectacular effort from outside the box.
Larsson, who scored eight times last season, was justifiably delighted with the effort as Sunderland went on to win 3-0.
And O’Neill feels the strike was a key one for the former Birmingham man, who has made the switch to a central midfield role this term.
“It was Seb’s first goal of the season and I think it’s important for him to feel that he’s contributing to the team with a goal or two,” he said.
“That will give him a big boost of confidence and certainly seemed to during the game.
“Hopefully he can kick on from here.”
