Substitute appearance for Reed in Pompey defeat.

Adam Reed made his second appearance for Portsmouth off the bench in a 2-0 defeat to Notts County last night.

Reed, who made his Pompey debut last weekend, came on as a substitute six minutes from time but couldn’t prevent his side from slipping to defeat in front of 10,276 at Fratton Park.

Elsewhere, the weather played havoc with the fixture list as both Johnny Maddison and Billy Knott saw their respective games postponed.

Maddison, who has joined Crawley on loan, was denied his first involvement in the squad as Town’s game against Preston was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Billy Knott’s Woking were also frustrated by the weather, with a rain-soaked playing surface putting paid to their home clash with Forest Green.
