Larsson happy to get on score sheet.
An elated Sebastian Larsson shared his joy after notching his first goal of the season in Sunderland’s victory over West Ham United.
The midfielder opened the scoring in the 3-0 win in style as he rifled the ball home from 25 yards out leaving West Ham United goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen with no chance.
I caught the ball beautifully and was just happy to see it go in.

Following the game Larsson told safc.com: “It’s been a long time coming and to be honest I’ve been disappointed that I haven’t been able to get on the score sheet or actually get forward enough from the centre of midfield.”
The Swede admits that the goal was somewhat of a collector’s item as he struck the ball with his left foot.
“I caught the ball beautifully and was just happy to see it go in - there hasn’t been many of them with my left foot but it was a nice goal.”
Larsson added: “I was delighted to score the goal today and it made it all the sweeter after we went on to get the three points comfortably.”
“I thought we played really well.
“We counter attacked when we had to very well and the defence was terrific today.
“I thought it was a great overall performance.”
