Defender makes permanent move to Ricoh Arena.
Youngster Blair Adams has joined Coventry City.
The 21-year-old left-back had been on loan with the Npower League One club and has now made the move permanent.
Adams has become a first-team regular since moving to the Ricoh Arena, making 15 appearances so far.
Born in South Shields, Adams came through Sunderland’s Academy system.
He didn’t make any senior appearances on Wearside but gathered plenty of Football League experience via loan moves.
The defender spent time at Brentford and also had a successful spell at Northampton during the second half of the 2011-12 season.
