Potentially busy weekend coming up for loanees.

Ahmed Elmohamady’s Hull City will be looking to pick up their second win of the week when Charlton Athletic visit the KC Stadium on Saturday.

After Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory over Derby County, the Tigers are lying in second place in the Championship as the battle for a place in the Barclays Premier League intensifies.

Elmohamady, who re-joined the Tigers on transfer deadline day, will be on a high having scored a late winner to secure three points against the Rams last time out.

Meanwhile, Ji Dong-Won will be hoping his Augsburg side can get a positive result at Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga.

Ji’s side are unbeaten in four but are currently second-bottom of the table, nine points from safety.

Elsewhere, Adam Reed’s Portsmouth will be hoping for their first win in 20 games as Carlisle United make the trip south to Fratton Park.

Also, Billy Knott will be looking to continue his impressive scoring run when his Woking side entertain Newport County.

The Cardinals are looking to record their fifth successive league win as they look to make a late push for the play-offs.

And goalkeeper Johnny Maddison, on loan at Crawley, will be hoping to be involved when Town host Doncaster on Monday evening.
