Four Black Cats in loan action.

Billy Knott starred on his debut for Wycombe Wanderers as Gareth Ainsworth’s side drew 2-2 with SkyBet League Two leaders Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.

Knott provided the assist for Dean Morgan’s opener and was a constant threat to the Oxford defence before he was replaced in the 89th minute.

Danny Rose levelled for the hosts before Morgan looked to have sealed the points with his second of the afternoon only for Johnny Mullins to equalise in injury-time for Oxford.

Elsewhere, Alfred N’Diaye played 90 minutes as Eskişehirspor lost 1-0 to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt scored the only goal of the game for the hosts as N’Diaye’s side lost for the first time this season.

Meanwhile, Jordan Laidler was unfortunate to be on the losing side on his Chester debut as the Blues lost out 3-1 to Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough Stadium.

Laidler played in a number ten role for Chester and created a handful of opportunities as well as providing a couple of dangerous set-piece deliveries.

However goals from Josh Gowling, Marvin Johnson and Joe Lolley secured the win for last season’s Conference Premier runners-up.

Also in action was Danny Graham who played the final 18 minutes of Hull City’s maiden Barclays Premier League win of the 2013-14 campaign.

Steve Bruce’s side beat Norwich City 1-0 at the KC Stadium with Robbie Brady scoring the game’s only goal from the penalty spot.
