Billy's winning debut.

Just hours after sealing his loan move to Conference Premier side Woking, Billy Knott was in the team’s starting line-up for their victory over Cambridge United.

The 19 year-old played the first 70 minutes of the Cards’ 2-1 win over united, as they ended their three-match winless run.

Elsewhere, Ryan Noble was is Johnstone’s Paint Trophy action, as he made his first start at Victoria Park, since returning Hartlepool United on loan last week.

The young striker lined up alongside fellow loan star Charlie Wyke, who joined Pools from Middlesbrough yesterday.

Neither frontman could find the target, as United slipped out of the competition to League Two visitors Bradford City.

The game ended goalless, before being decided by a penalty shoot-out and City secured their place in the next round of the competition.
