Adams and Noble in League One action.

Left-back Blair Adams played a full 90 minutes in Coventry City’s win over Colchester United.

Resurgent City claimed their fourth win in five matches with a 3-1 victory over the U’s.

Ryan Noble was a late substitute for Hartlepool United as they were condemned to another defeat at Victoria Park when a late Jose Baxter goal secured all three points for Paul Dickov’s Oldham Athletic.

Pools had cancelled out Baxter’s early strike through Antony Sweeney just after the hour mark, but they were denied a share of the spoils when the forward popped up with a last-gasp winner.

Over in League Two promotion hopefuls Bradford picked up a win over Plymouth, but the game was tarnished by an injury to Sunderland's John Egan.

The Black Cats defender, who moved to Valley Parade on-loan earlier this month, was stretchered off in the first half with a reported broken leg.
